ok in all fairness... I have had a detector for 3 months..but...I cant count the first two months since the ace250 was not working here in nj for me..( which got taken care of by margaret at kellyco) anyways, in the meantime..I have the new whites M6... and just got the new garrett 1350.. Today I went out to an older school, hunted the soccer field..hunted the sanded tot lot... and came home with a total of 31 coins...nothing old... nothing silver... dont get me wrong here, I am not giving up..but I am so dam disquisted... I am not finding anything of any value but normal clad.. and here I go again tomorrow..to the beach, low tide..and gonna dig n dig every dam signal I get.. just am frustrated at not finding Nothing worth anything... hell, I dont even have 20.00 in change yet..The only thing of any value I have found is two silver dimes from the sixties.. just kinda frustrated..as much as I love it... I have nothing to post but normal clad, which I am not gonna waste your time or mine posting that... ok am done ranting.

rae whose determined to be one of the best women detectorists ever.... if thats possible..

I have found only 5 silver coins in 6 years of t-hunting. BUT a lot of jewelry, rings gold and silver, and chains. And a lotta clad. Most GOOD finds will be in the water, just depends what you are looking for and where you look. Keep swinging and you will find good things. HH Gayle

I had a similar frustration. The solution was not my detector but 1. learning what it was telling me and 2. where I was hunting. My reseach got better, started hunting older sites, the old silver started to appear.Keep the faith.Bill

give up Me..hell no... I am one fiesty ole crone.... tough decision here... I love the m6..but..am really liking the gtp1350 as well... getting good at that one... and my biggest mistake is this... I have been in the jewelry mode...go into all metal rae...all metal... and so help me gods if anyone jumps me after diggin thru all this hard as a rock dry dirt here, right now I got me one hell of a right hook...lol one detector at a time....like I said... I will be the bestest that I can possibly be..and by gods I will get there..

hows that fer ya....

How did you do at the beach?

I know the cold weather is setting in but next spring if I were you I would spend most of the hunting time on the beach. No research necessary, no permission asking and no jackhammering into cement like ground.

People go to the beach, maybe get a little tipsy, drop all there change and jewelry and you go out and dig it up. Nothing really complicated about it at all IMO. Got around to rock tumbling a months worth of clad finds at the beach and found 5 silvers and two wheaties so old coins can be had there too.

Conservative reply. "the problem with you liberals is you ignore the simple answers and then the problems become complex".

don't ignore the simple answers. The beach; can ya dig it.?
