Can someone tell me what these things are? The horsehoof shaped thing says magnetic on it and has rows of metal projections on the opposite side. The other thing looks familiar but I can't place it. Thanks for any help.

Another guess, could the last thing be a foot pedal?

The Magnet thing reminds me of a curry comb

The one on the left is a buggy step. The one one the right looks like a park brake for a doctor's buggy. Tony

This is what I thought, but maybe for a sheep. The hole to push a mess of hair off?

Thanks Tony. Is that a for sure ID on the step? Do you know how they were fastened? I'm not sure, but it doesn't appear broken and I can't figure how it would be attached as is to support the weight. Plus the MAGNETIC logo would never be viewable except to the installer??

I thought this too... both actually remind me of buggy steps.

Scratcher , here's a step I dug a couple days ago which shows you how spindly they were and how they were fasted 9if you can imagine this unbebt :D)

I doubt if the name on the bottom means that much. The fact that it has grippers on the top to hold your foot does mean a lot though, and is probably why it is called 'magnetic'

That type of step slid into a tube or pipe under the body of the carriage. The tube had a setscrew to hold or adjust it.

You guys may right on the "step", but to me it looks like an old nail "picker upper" used to pick up nails after a roof tear off

You can clean it up real nicely using a 12v battery charger/salt water.
Get a large plastic tub fill it 3/4 or so with salt water ,about a 1/8 cup per gallon of water. attache the positive? clip from charger to a stainless steel spoon, and the negative clip to the iron object (may need to file a small area on object so good contact is made)and immerse both into the bath but not touching each other then turn on charger.
after a few minutes, should see bubbles rising from the Object(if bubbles are coming from Spoon reverse the battery clips)Depending upon the amperage of charger and %salt used in solution Should probablt remove object and rinse every 2 hours or So to check progress,do not want to remove anymore metal than necessary
And use a soft non metallic brush to cleanWant to remove the rust from metal not pull metal away with Rust,
Should make a Nice "Hanger"
