With me, it's that short-lived rush I feel when I catch that glimpse of silver.
Yesterday, my day off, I put off chores again to hit the road in search of...
I quit ordering boxes of halves a while ago because they just don't produce here. So, I stopped at 4 branches I have accounts at. Picked up 25-30 hand rolls.
Nada. Stopped at another bank, had 8 rolls but was told "no silver ones in there, just bicentennials and such, i've already checked".
Next bank, i heard the teller whisper to her co-worker, "we have some but we are saving those for ----".
I did manage to finally score 2 40% from 2 rolls.
Then I picked up my dime boxes (5) plus $350 in hand rolled dimes.
Scored 12 silvers.
14 silvers found paid for gas.
That was $1550 worth of dimes, $350 in halves, 4-5 hours of my time, and I still have to dump it all....wow! do I need a life!
