I have never anything anything like it it is perfectly round with no seems It is solid and it has some weight to it. No rust found 7 inches deep. Perfectly round no seems. If weighting it. helps please let me know

My first impression was a steel ball bearing. What is the diameter? It could be slingshot ammo.

Looks like a brass/bronze alloy? Probably a check ball for an old pump.

I found one right like that except it looks like brass i was trying to figure out too.
