Ok, what is this coin? It gave me quite a heart skip. It was deep found in a field in lower NY.

French 1 Ecu , but looks more like a token representation of one cause he's got some funky hair

This is the reverse, click the link to see the reverse side, Amazon crazy ... but I did not see anything like that front, my opinion is that it might have been a fake french coin from the period, the metal looks like chop metal that falls apart over time, not the type of metal countries made their coins out of...

I would have been excited too, but I couldn't find any picture like that face, and I've never seen copper coins degrade like that... Doesn't mean it's not worth something to a collector of course.. maybe
