Rockpassion: Respectfully, how could any of us know what that is, or
if it has any value? What is it made of? Can you knock off the dirt so
to see what's under it, or is it just a big round rock?

With out any other information about it. How about a encrusted cannon ball. Is it magnetic ?
what does it weigh ?
 
Sorry for my late response but for some reason i dind't get a notification that there where massages. it turnes out to be a cannonbal after removing the crust.

Nice find! Depending on where you found it, it could be historically important. It looks a lot like something I recently found but this is not a cannon ball. It is hollow, crumbly and not round. It looks to me like iron slag but have never heard of a hollow ball of slag.

this cannonball was found in the netherlands under a streat but i was in very poor condition so i gave it away. And don´t think this one had powder in it just a solid shot. thanks for the input all of you.
