The following images show a carbon inclusion within a diamond found on the right-hand side of the cross. The inclusion reminds me of an angel. I have included another image of the diamond encrusted cross found last night, "Diamonds in Big 'D'." What do you all see? What do you think? I think this is an unusual coincidence..or is it?

Could you point out which stone has the inclusion? I think this could be a very valuble find considering it's an angel in a cross found on 6/6/06. I remember that grilled cheese sandwich on ebay got an outlandish amount of money. People have gone crazy over water stains under bridges that resemble something, just think what this could do.
You have a tough choice here, sell or keep? that is the question.

Hi all , talking about weird things this defiantly looks like a fairy or an angel, I saw a lady the other day who had made a grilled cheese sandwhich she took a bite then looked at her sandwich and realized that mother mary was staring back at her , I saw the sandwhich and it really did look like a piece of artwork, she somehow preserved and encased the sandwhich and just recently sold it on ebay for either 26000 or 28000, so just maybee you will be lucky and do even better considering this anomily is in a real diamond, tammahawk

I can't help thinking about the possibilities of this find. Inquirer would pay a mint for this story. TV appearances. Wow, you are gonna be rich soon as this gets out into the public. I wonder if the sale of metal detectors will go up now. lol

If this is real (which it looks like it is and I'm not trying to accuse you of making something up), I say it looks like either an angel or a fairy the way it's presented.

If you cover up the spot that appears to be the "head," it suddenly looks like nothing really besides a "blobby" flaw in the diamond (have you made sure it is a real diamond yet?).

I personally wouldn't consider it a difficult decision at all! I'd make sure the diamond is real, make sure the inclusion is real and then spread your story far and wide to anyone who will listen. Describe how it came into your possession, embellish your story if needed and then at the right time decide to announce that you are going to sell it on e-bay.

With all the millions of people around the world, I'm sure you'll run across a few crazy ones willing to part with alot of hard earned money for the priveledge of owning a diamond with a flaw :-).

I for one think that this is an honest find. the man that found it is not making any claims at all. he is just showing what he found. It is the rest of us that are making this into something more and I for one think that it is a good thing. some of us are looking for a meaning and some are just commenting for sport. either way it is a heck of a find and well worth the controversy that it may bring. I myself cannot help but point out the parallels to todays favorite "prophecy claims" who knows for sure. after all if there is a God then He most assuredly created this diamond. Maybe He just wants to drive us all nutz. lol. of all the posts I've seen here this one is at the top.
