So I was poking around on Google Maps this morning looking at an area that I'm going to explore metal Detecting this weekend out in the mountains. When I came across an odd area I couldn't help but see a few different symbols in the area! To me it looks like a arrow and a keyhole in the center of the arrow. I would just like others opinion on this maybe my mind is just far fetched! Any knowledge on the symbology would be great as well. Thanks

It's natural, well, the clearing could be man made but the shape isn't meaningful. Large, geo-artifacts are typically executed in a more controlled and overt manner, see the Nazca lines or chalk carvings in other regions. This, even if it's man made is not a symbol, it would have that shape for other, logistical reasons. Sorry, that's not very exciting but it's the truth friend. Go metal detect it anyway, if the clearing is man made there might be interesting features on the ground there...

Yeah I'm not sure I have it waypointed to check it out this weekend! It looks like it's Disturbed in that round area or brush has been cut something.

What I see.
Left side of arrow shape looks like a fence.
Where the little road comes in the lower left may be a gate.
Round shape looks like a rock quarry or rock out-cropping.
There appears to be stacks of rocks all around the area.

If you are comfortable sharing the location I could possibly figure out more.
