I dug this cross on Saturday and I'm wondering what this stamp means. My best guess is that the clasp or loop is 925 sterling but the cross itself may be silver plated? I thought it would be a simple Google search but it hasn't been.
Thanks

It's a makers mark. Not Italian made. A quick search reveals many items with this mark, some also have Thailand stamped on them.
I'm not a practicing Catholic but I was baptized one, lol. Unless they are the real cheap plastic ones, I usually buy rosaries and religious medallions when I see them. I've sold a few sterling ones over the years. I have a large Alabaster wall rosary for sale right now on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/123181229762I just saw this while getting ready to ask a question...Sorry for the delay.
I apologize.. I guess I wasn't clear in my wording...TORSADE means Twisted in Italian. Not 'Made in Italy'. The Wiring is Twisted. They are hand made Rosaries like most Rosaries are. Most Rosary Beads are Manufactured... Not All.
Im attaching a pic of an OBJ Rosary.. There are many different types, styles and pricing of OBJ Rosaries.
I collect Old Rosaries, Old Crucifixes and Old Religious Medalions and if you happen upon an old Rosary with skulls... those can be very valuable. The style and material used of the Crucifix can also determine value as can what the Beads and Mysteries are made of as well as where it was made on the Old Rosaries.

You have my complete agreement on that! Stay safe and keep the faith = there are times it is all we have.
Pretty Deep on that!
