This thing is sharpe as heck and is made of wood....... I'm thinking Indian knife it has a hawk feather in it

Can you tell what kind of wood, could give insight to origin of item?maybe put pic of the grain of the wood.

That looks like black palm wood.Could be southeast Asian origin.

It looks a lot like the wood that a bow I have is made of. The bow was South American.
