Charlie, you and Jim could be more right than you think. . . that copper tub belonged to my grandmother's uncle. . . and he was a blacksmith

I am rethinking that item nevertheless... it'll take some pictures now of the tack to convince me... I am completely off balance... LOL

for storing firewood that's missing a handle on one side. . . I think you found it

Man I really think I may have been wrong all along - maybe they ARE handles...
