What is she?

So here's the scoop....I bought this dog from a pet shop under the pretense that she was 1/2 beagle & 1/2 golden retriever. I wanted a man's dog, but just not a huge dog. A week later when I took her to the vet, the vet looks at the paperwork on her (I never looked at it) and it says, 1/2 beagle & 1/2 lab. Well, a month later I take her back to the vet (same place, different vet) and he tells me, "No, there was a mixup on the paperwork for this litter, but the people are my neighbors and the dog is actually 1/2 golden and 1/2 lab." Ok, much bigger dog, but by now I'm attached and I'm thinking I can live with it. But here's the problem, she's now 7 months old and she weighs right at 35lbs and her growth is really slowing, so I'm thinking, "too small for a lab & golden mix." Here's a couple pics, what do you think? What mix is she? How big do you think she'll get?

weimaraner or Rhodesian Ridgeback...does she have a line of fur running backwards down her spine?
Yellow lab?
could be a mix

Nope, all her fur runs the same way. Great temperament, thinks eveything is a play thing. I've never seen the first hint or sign of aggressiveness. I'd just like to be able to answer people when they ask, 'What kind of dog is she?"

That's about all I know for sure!
I hate to admit it, but I'm a real softy, love dogs, so this one is really spoiled. Even has her own bedroom and toy shelf. I need help, don't I?

I would say Wiemaraner as well. They do get almost the size of a lab/golden retriever

Couple of vizsla pics for comparison. Beautiful dogs, great temperament. My neighbor has one and the dog has been living with he and his daughter since she was 4 or 5 with no problems.

edit to add: Females will get about 22 inches tall at the top of the shoulder blades and about 50 lbs.

WOW! I can't believe those pictures, the faces are really identical, body shape and color also. The tips of all her paws are white and she has a touch of white on her chest also. So if this is what she is, and it certainly looks like it, how big do these whinny beagles get?

I think you have nailed it. If you so much as raise your voice to this dog in a discipline way she'll cower and become completely inactive until you love her up a bit. Never had a young dog react like that, really have to watch how much "stern" I put in my voice because it seldom takes much to send her into pouting mode. Loves water, but man she hates baths! Thanks for all the info everyone! At least now when someone ask me what kind of dog she is I can answer them with some measure of certainty. Thanks again!

Labs have webbed feet...check for that. No matter what breed she is, she has a loving master...that's all that matters.

Well, it's not a Poodle, nor a Chihuahua, that's for sure.. Looks plenty like a lab and a few others for sure. The best part is that your dog is a mutt and they are the best dogs ever... If it's part lab it will have a great temperament, but you will also have to watch them, they love digging

I thought about making her a little search coil trailer & harness, the control box on her back, see if I could teach her to respond to the tones and then dig and sniff out the targets. What do you think? Just think what those puppies would sell for!

Funny you asked that. He named the dog Otis and the dog hates trees so she won't eat the bark, but Otis loves sitting on the dock of the bay

No matter what breeds she may be, I know one thing for sure, she has the best home any dog could ask for.

Shes a good looking pup no doubt about it. Not sure what she is? Looks like shes got some lab in her though to me. I guess in the end it doesnt really matter. You wont find a better friend, then a good dog.
