Hi all, just wondering if switzerland uses this form of coinage still. I know the swiss franc is a valueable currency, just cannot seem to find enough info on these coins or the current exchange rate.

Thank you for the helpful answers in advance. I found this in the reject tray at my local coin machine.

I have a 2009 1/2 FR with the identical design that I found in a roll of dimes.

That coin is still being used. My sister-in-law just got back from a business trip in Switzerland and she brought me a bunch of Swiss coins. Your style 1 Franc being one of them. -Garbageman
