Found this the other day and have no idea what it could be used for. has a sharp needle on one side, and what looks like a brass center then a long looped wire on the back. About 7.5 to 8 inches long. Any ideas??
It is a tool for fly tying. The wire loop threads the thread through a bobbin barrel and the other end is used to put a drop of head cement (glue) on the finished fly. That end also cleans out the bobbin barrel when wax builds up in it (from the waxed thread).
