Well...............................hard to tell online.

However, the first may be a conglomerate, and the second may be a heart-shaped meteorite.

First one is a bunch of fossils in matrix. I'm not good enough to tell you what kind though, may need more pictures. If no-one IDs it, post it in the fossil forum.

I agree - however, the word "conglomerate" would be correct also. A conglomerate is nothing but a "conglomeration" of materials, whether it is different rocks, shells, or any "mixtures".

Its a cool rock.

I think your right. It looks like a piece of tumbled iron ore because the smooth looking texture and cavities. I found some pieces with similar cavities along a creek bed, except the pieces I found were not tumbled into the shape of a heart. Alot of iron ore is deposited around the Lake Superior region and other oxidation zones. Baylorhall said is was found by a lake too. I like the conglomerated fossils too. Sounds like a nice place to find some cool rocks.
