what is this ? petrified bone ?

appears to be petrified human femur , metallic looking . you tell me

Not a human femur. Too many years as an OR nurse. The femoral notch is too shallow. Possibly bovine or ovine. Can you post a picture of the broken end end on. I can't tell if it IS a bone unless there is spongy material (cancellous tissue) inside the bone.
