That looks fractured, it might be a hairline fracture I would definitely get that X rayed.

Well..My thumb wasn't getting any better and started hurting pretty bad. So, I made a visit to the hand clinic and discovered that the distal phalanx had a complete break and a hand x-ray revealed I also have a fractured pointer. I now have two custom formed splints, and 8 weeks of doing nothing.
