What is this?

I found this last summer in a block of limestone. It looks like a fossil, but I have my doubts and haven't been able to decide. Thanks for any information.

Welcome Section10, Limestone is usually 'chock full of fossils', this looks like a 'Nautiloid', ( ancient shelled Cephalopod), having an external chambered shell either straight or curved or coiled.
The locals in some African countries make a living, quarring, & polishing these fossils,plus Ammonites for export.

Ditto with the others. It's a cephalopod. How big is it?

I'd estimate at least a foot long. Maybe a little more.
