I'm currently on vacation in Spain, and I stumbled upon something interesting. After cleaning it up, I noticed that it looks quite old. Can anyone help me identify what this might be?

I dont have a ruler but my iPhone Ruler App says 6 cm/ 2,3 inches

I don't see any thread marks for like screw on cap. Maybe a type of dish or pan

Looks like pot metal, so not much more than 100 years old.
