Found it while hiking in north Phoenix. Size of baseball and pretty heavy. Looks like there could be something really cool on inside.

Seeing a lot of this stuff here lately Looks like a very nice piece of breciated jasper.
Probably the same inside. It will polish up beautifully.

Looks to be a type of granite.

More than likely the silvery look to due to a mica or phyllitic textured type of rock.
