What the Squirrels in Your Yard Are Doing at Night — You've Never Seen This

Seen it?.... Never even knew it.

Don't know what he does at night, but just about every day he visits and begs for a pecan.

Wait til he tells a dozen of his best buddies. Better stock up on pecans.

Folks think squirrels are only diurnal, but they do engage in nocturnal activity. I can't count the number of times my security cameras have caught squirrels active during the night. Yes, they can become owl food, but I've never seen evidence of it in my area.

Thank you for the excellent info about squirrels!

We have flying squirrels that are totally nocturnal. They are rarely seen. A friend has a tree service and has found them in trees he’s removed.
