I found a bag with 43 German coins from the 30's and 40's in a vacant lot years ago.

I pulled up the bag and could hear the coins so I ran to the car thinking I had hit the big one. Opened the bag and was a little disappointed to see they were all foreign, but many were silver.

As usual I comment from the shallow end of the pool-------35 zincolns in a 3ft x 3 ft spot.

a 2# coffee can full of those lead weights for car rims,
about a foot down. in 1988 i thought jackpot nickels galore
wish i could of seen the look on my face, when i dumped them out

Most I have ever found in one hole would have to be 2 quarters and a dime. Nothing that spectacular.
