Poor pic but you can get the idea of relative condition..... 4 reale , roughly 1540-1550... Been rolling around the sea for 400 yrs...

I guess that's some photo from a book showing a grouping of Padre Island wrecks pieces... all Mexico Carlos & Juana pillar-style pieces. Note that you're looking at not just 4R, but a mixture of 2 Reales and 4 Reales pieces there (looks like maybe 60% 2R, 40% 4R). "What are these worth" is a really vague question... like any other collectible, that's a function of condition and the rarity of whatever variety a given piece is. A common salvaged Carlos & Juana "late series" 2R in typical condition (some corrosion), from Padre Island or one of the Dominican wrecks that have produced pieces of this type - left relatively uncleaned, like the ones from that photo - generally falls in the $75-150 range. A 4R, maybe $150-225. Again, that's ballpark for non-rare varieties (common assayers) with some degree of corrosion... it's very condition dependent. Really crummy pieces - less. Nicer pieces, less common assayers, or obviously if they were "Early Series" Carlos and Juana - more.
