whats the strangest thing you have found?

I once found a cat collar and an old broken dish in the same hole.Fortunately, the cat was gone.

Dont no about strange. But found two knifes, around a root system of a tree.. one was whole made, other was a small steak knife.Mabe gang related... :-\

A pure cooper ball about the size of a small jawbreaker.(?)

I think one of the strangest (or luckiest) finds I've come across was a double stamped dog vaccination tag I found on a farm property. It was a 1947 tag that was stamped over as 1948. It was tag #1352. Here's the kicker....months later my hunting partner Ridley is hunting the same farm, and digs up another 1947/1948 tag with the very next sequence #1353 on it!!! They were found far apart from each other too.
See the pictures attached.
I thought this was a very cool find.

You know I received the private message and thought about it. The ring was actually small. The person said he played cards and thought it would be fun to wear while playing. I tried to tell him it barely fit my pinky! He said he had a jeweler that could enlarge it! :o So I figured he really wanted it and he just said name your price! Odd I thought...so I wanted to be fair it is only silver and sold it to him for $15, after looking up the general price range. No regrets second ring I sold this year out of 16 good ones. The other ring i sold was gold and i got $55 for it.

Strangest thing I have ever found? Well, that's easy...my hubby!!!!

Oh, but that's not the answer you were quite looking for...sorry!

I wouldn't say strangest thing, but finding a Letter Opener at the beach, in 3 pieces and finding all three pieces and they all fit perfectly....was strange to me....a letter opener at the beach....hmmm?

Think I'm still looking for my STRANGE PIECE....I'll let you know when I find one! Hopefully in August when we head to Arkansas :)

Happy Hunting Ya'll,
Annmarie

I'm going to have to go with the goat's head as well. When I hunt in the basements of houses in the center of Amsterdam (16th and 17th century construction), I find goat heads and horns. Go figure.
