Just got done hanging nearly 20k sq. ft. of sheetrock the past couple weeks took yesterday off and did nothing. Got restless this morning and decided to go to my "secret" spot. Got tired of digging, about 40 coins in an hour, so I decided to hit some tot lots just for fun.
44 pennies
23 dimes
2 nickels
6 quarters
1 Canadian penny
1 1944 wheatie
1 1964 nickel
and a pendant that has got some marking on the back, can't read it

Congrats on your finds!! Your pendant looks silver. Maybe there's a .925 stamping on it.

Your '64 nickel is just an ordinary nickel (Copper 75%, Nickel 25%). Silver (Wartime) nickels were only minted from '42-'45, have a large mint mark on the reverse above the Monticello dome, and are 35% silver.

Really, I thought a '64 was silver.....so much for the 60k I spent to get an education. Then become a brainless drywall contractor.....learn something new every day ....Thanks :thumbsup:
