A high point of the 70's for me was as a senior in 72 being sent home from school and told not to come back til I got my hair cut. (Couldn't touch your ears or your collar) I became a legend or someone to avoid to the underclassmen. After graduation it didn't matter, but it was tough having long hair in Oklahoma. Should never have cut it, haha!

Only thing I Liked about my school was there didn't seem too be any rules on appearance , clothing , Truancy etc. at least for me

I Never Heard anyone Complain, they were in trouble.
Only one student was thrown out, He had to be at least 18 in 8th Grade & He Beat up the Library Teacher. I Got to Watch That Live

the new teacher Pushed him on the Back to Get him moving & He went Ballistc ! He was one of thhe Lucas Family who Made theWorld Record Book
I wore what I wanted
I appeared like I Wanted.
Took off when I wanted
skipped Classes when I Felt like it
& Only did enough to Pass each Class.
We went on a Classs Trip to the Schmits Brewery , the state museum,
west point. etc I Never Figured out Why Schmits & Not Yuengling
which was Closer, Perhaps Yuengling had Principles
I Hear School is like a Prison now
