The older people get, the more they long for those good old days. But me, not so much. I remember having a black and white TV with rabbit ear antenna, then later a stand alone antenna just to hopefully get 3 tv channels, 4 if you have someone go outside turn the antenna pole while holding their mouth just right. But now, with cable/Dish TV, I get up to 200 channels to thumb thru hoping to land on a show I want to watch before it ends. Vehicles that will last 10 years like they should, while the old 60's, 70's and 80's vehicles you were lucky they would last you until it was paid off. I lived and grew up in a small town in central Florida, if we needed anything other than groceries, we had to drive 40 miles to Orlando. But today, we have just about everything Orlando has with the added bonus of less traffic. Now a days, I can order anything I want from a computer key board in my home, from a riding mower to a new car.
But the real kicker for me is I get to watch the left wing lunatics run around trying to put the fire in their hair out because of Donald J. Trump. So although the good old days are nostalgic, I'll take the good new days instead. An added bonus, while typing this, I don't even have to know how to spell, the computer is doing it for me. God Bless America and God Bless the Good New Days.
