When will you retire from CRHing???

Hello All,

Just reading some awesome posts and started thinking to myself...when will I retire from this addiction we all like to call CRHing? Most of us would say when pigs fly but here are my markers on what I need to find in order to retire!

1.) indian head penny (found plenty of wheats and steelies, still would like to find some key wheats but that'll come someday)
2.) barber dime (roosies and mercs no prob)
3.) silver proof dime
4.) standing liberty quarter (found silver washingtons)
5.) barber quarter
6.) silver proof quarter
7.) barber half (found WLs, Bens, '64s and 40%ers)
8.) clad commemorative half
9.) silver commemorative half
10.) silver proof half
11.) '70D half (found the '70S)
12.) canadian silver half (found the quarter and dime)
13.) peace dollar (found 2 morgans and multiple 40% ikes)
14.) Commemorative silver dollar
15.) ASE Dollar

Nickels were not listed as I have found silver war nickels (every year and mintmark), proofs, buffalos and and a V nick too!

When I find the coins listed above (which may take a long, long time) , I will happily retire from CRHing!!! When will y'all retire from CRHing

I can always trade for what i cant find... like i want to trade for a morgan or two,, and maybe a standing quarter.... but i will retire when i dont got a pick up or dump or when i get skunked for a month or two straight... or when i make so much money that it isnt worth my time...

Halves: I'd probably stop if I consistenly have to go through ~10 or more boxes just to find 1 coin, because they're a pain to haul around and try and dump.
Dimes: See above, but ~20 boxes as they're easier to dump and check.
Pennies: See above, but ~5 boxes as they're a hassle to check.

would rather buy a box of "junk" silver and hope to find something rare . or hunting a mix bag of 1k silver coins would be the best hunt ever

Btw $$, I noticed that your 2011 finds list is almost as good as your "hope to find list". You sure have found a lot of silver so far this year - which shows just how profitable this hobby can be - esp when silver prices are at all time highs again.

Thanks friend, I have been doing well by busting my butt each and every week without fail! I find lots of silver but it took me a year of CRHing to find the '70S so the 'hard' finds may take me years and years - which is ok, I am totally fine with that!

p.s. - you are doing quite well yourself in a short amount of time! Keep up the good work!

Never, this is a hobby to me, and a lifetime hobby at that, but like MM2 said, I would never quit unless something more important forces me too.
