When You Grow Up...

Hah! so cool vibes, thanks for sharing that part of your life. I had so many things I was gonna have accomplished by the time I grew up, but now, I'm grown up, and I have a metal detector and just wanna go treasure hunting!!! what gives?

An artist, always an artist. I wanted to be an artist. Paid well and revered. I've sacrificed, worked very hard, tried to understand it all. And now that I'm grown up, I dunno. I think I just want to be grown-up. And not "be" anything other than what I am, starving artist type.

Starving Artist! I wonder how many are on here. I do Acrylics,Watercolor,Ink,Fresco,Pyrography,Giclee and other Photography work.

Whoa Vibes, too cool. Is that an intentional parody? The grandkids like that and laugh. I tell them don't laugh too much, cause she fishes, and catches fish too.

I have an artistic family. My nephew, my daughter and my son-in-law are all very good artists. My nephew has sold several of his works, my daughter is just in it for her own gratification, and my son-in-law is a senior animator for a computer game company. I think they got it from my mother who did a lot of oil painting, some of them quite good. One of my grandaughters does nothing but draw in her spare time and says she wants to be an artist when she grows up. She is pretty good for her age (8). All I inherited was the want to! Most of the really highly acclaimed artists are not recognized until they are dead. There are a few exceptions such as Picasso, but not many. It's a hard market to get into. I envy those who are able to do it. Monty
