Lookin to get into the hobby and thinkin of gettin a coin master ,where online is a good place to find one? Or should I order direct from whites?
Welcome to Tnet..JPG Normally I would give you the Link for Big Boys Hobbies, but Bart doesn't carry White's. So try Kellyco. http://www.kellycodetectors.com/ I don't have any other dealers for White's.
Kellyco.JPG But Bart accepts PayPal.

I owned a Coinmaster Pro. You REALLY might want to look at something else.

Whites builds some fine machines. The CoinMaster isn't one of em in my never humble opinion.
Wobbly shafts just scream cheap, it's prone to falsing more that any other detector I've ever used. Depth is a little weak & coil selection is slim.

However, if all you want to do is cruise tot lots and pick up dropped change, it'll work just fine. Pair it up with Whites 4x6 Prizm coil and have at it.

If I may ask, what drew you to the Coinmaster?

well back when i was alittle kid my good friends dad had a whites md and everyone bragged on it so thats what drew me to lookin at those. i like the tesoro md's but worried about noise from all the power lines around here..though my old bounty hunter has no issues but who knows if the tesoro would..

I obviously have an XLT and love it . If your after a Whites , I would call them and explain your needs & situation ( power lines ) and see what they say . From what I read on thier forum site , people swear by Whites service and advice . JMHO . Good Luck & HH......

The Mid Atlantic service center and sales (Centreville Electronics) is in Manassas, VA and I bought my V3i there. If you want to try out the different models in person before making a decision, driving over here might be a good idea.
