Where to Dump?

So I have yet to return home to start hunting, but I put up a map, this is of my town, with the banks, as seen by a Google Map search for "bank." As you can see there are a few clumps of a few banks, and then just one alone (marked E, this is called Citizen's Bank). That one actually happens to be the closest to my house. So the idea I had was to use that as my dump bank, so I could go around and hit the clumps of banks and then just go to one isolated place and dump them (keep in mind I don't drive so I am walking everywhere). Does that idea make sense at all? And I am guessing if I want to dump there it is a good idea to set up an account there? And also, I know you say don't get coins where you dump, but I am the type that would be paranoid there are like 20 rolls of solid silver there that I won't find... is it OK if I just take their loose or cwr halves if they have any just to go through once before I dump there?

buy a bike with one of those baskets, make sure it is a heavy duty one. You will be safer than walking with bundles of coin and you'll get to the banks quicker. hope this helps.

The bike will be a great investment if you don't have one already considering it cuts your time in more than half.

Depends on how much volume you do. If you're ordering lots of boxes you usually you want at least as many dump banks as pickup banks, maybe more.

I have a bike actually... the only problem is that it is in the middle of being shipped from Germany (where I used to live) and won't be here for 20 or 30 more days.

Also a question: If I roll my own coins to be taken to dump would the bank be OK with that (even if I don't have an account?)

i do not know whether to roll your coins or not, i have free coin counters in my area

hmm OK; one more question (sorry if it has been asked before): Is there a particular branch that seems to have free coin counting machines in most of their branches? I see a lot of you guys talking about TD, but I checked and their closest branch is about 2 hours drive from me.

Steve sounds like your fighting an uphill battle with breaking into this CRH thing. The things we are willing to do for our treasure.

I return all my coins re-rolled in the original wrappers and box (they get less freaked out when its organized ive noticed), and I swap it out for another box. But I have accounts with bank. I would think if you bring in rolled coin with a non account, they would want want you to have an account with them, trust issues, extra coinage issues etc. In my mind, they are thinking, why should we take time away from our customers to keep helping this dude with all his coin, whats in it for us?

I say open an account with your dump bank, and buy from non account banks. Its always easier to buy then to dump.
