Don't get me wrong. Summer *is* my season! I get thru winter just looking forward to days like today. 95 degrees......in the shade!!

I did do some shadow hopping today. Didn't find a lot but the interesting thing is that I *still* find! Even when I just hunt the shadows! Lol!

Here's the take :

I do believe that's an original Monopoly game piece. :)

YEAH! Bring on the snow!

Snow is coming...

Great outing. Congrats!

Cool finds and cooler weather is ahead!

Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!

95 here tomorrow, then 15 degrees cooler the next day.

The wind is what gets me. In the cold winter, the wind blows constantly. In the hot summer, when you need a breeze, there are none to be found. Gary

I will take the heat over the snow any day! Well, except Christmas. Looks like you found a new friend for Fishy and Blingie. It always my favorite monopoly piece. I inherited a few of those Presidential coins. Sweet finds!

I love winter! Even though the cold temps hurt my hands - where capillaries were damaged 5 - 6 decades ago from repeated freezing, I look forward to the cold temps and high winds. Fossil hunters around here flock to the fossil deposits along the Cliffs when strong W winds cause "blowout tides", and sometimes leave the fossils high and dry to pick up on the beach. I fossil hunt 4 seasons, but the blowouts are best in winter. The competition is so strong that you have to go out before sunrise and hike the miles to the best deposits. And no bugs buzzing around the headlamp in the winter! And clear water...I could go on and on...

Too hot to do anything else, I may go to my shed to caress my snow shovels and touch up their edges with a file today.

Yeah, and the first time there is snow on the ground, people will complain because they haven't been able to detect at all for a week.

Nice finds on a hot day!

Actually, that lil doggie thing made me smile. It was a nostalgic find and it meant I must've been listening very closely!

Thanks!
