Hey everyone, it's been a while, but I thought of Daily Snapshot as soon as I got this pic.

This little guy was caught inside a closed-in porch and quickly released after his photo-op.

Those Rascals can definately sing a tune! We get them pretty frequently.

Good job releasing it, I used to find their nests in the forest while working as a logger, (hard to spot).

Thank You, I hear them almost every summer night...lately, one sounds as if it is right outside my window. I've seen them sitting in the middle of country roads at night but never seen one that close. Good job!!

I found five nests in one spot. They nest on the ground, right? These were made with pine needles.

It's nice to fall asleep listening to them. The interweb says their numbers have been declining and they don't like areas with roads and trails. Don't hear as many as I used to. I did find those nests at the end of a road though. Those look like nightvision eyes.
