I am new to mding and recently bought a mxt. What I would like to know is it ok to use it in shallow water, say around 6 to 12 inches and in calm water??
There are a few places where there were lumber mills on the water. i would like to try those places and i know the risk of dropping it in the water but would like to try it to see what i would come up with....
what do you guys think yay or nay..

thanks for your input

You may have trouble with it being stable in any salt water. It is ok since the coil is waterproof.

HOWEVER, Afterward never raise the coil higher than the controls or water in the shaft will move into the controls and fry the guts.

Good Luck,
