... I still like to lay steel, working on a first season to Nebraska, River Otter.
I’m a recovering Buffalo addict. At the turn of the century the market busted. You could buy 2-3 y.o. 900-1100 lb bulls from Ft Rob, Ne or Wind cave S.D. and Custer for $6-800per. I bought 40 of them and Kicked out on my partner in the deals ranch along the head of the Snake. A town ship sized pasture. I sold the hunts 1500-5g, to people who I met guiding fishing trips.

Hello!

My name is Heather and I am pretty new to the hobby. I started out as a shed hunter and lately my partner and I have slowly been focusing more and more on artifacts. If sheds turn up along the way, it's a bonus! Anything I find is over the top of the head of my little boy who is strapped up in a carrier like in my profile picture, he goes anywhere we go! Have really enjoyed the little bit I've talked with you all so far and excited to see more cool stuff posted from all of us going forward!

It's always great to put a face to a name. I always use my real name in forums, never one to hide who I am but understand why many don't do the same.

I don't post under the North American Indian Artifact forum because I mainly collect ancient European Bronze, Iron, Roman, etc periods, but I usually check out this forum to see what's going on in areas I don't collect. Lots of interesting artifacts posted here.

I'm the old guy on the left, my son on the right.

Our two boys (now 49 and 48), used to go almost everywhere with us. It's a great family hobby. Just wait until he starts walking. They are lower to the ground and usually have sharper eyes...some real competition!

My name is Daniel Smith. Been collecting heavily for about 3-4 years now. But I’ve been walking around with my pops since I was old enough to. I found my first point when I was around 8 - 10 years old. Born & raised in Northeast Georgia, but spent about 3 years in North Florida around the big bend area. That’s where I came cross the majority of my collection. This is a picture of me and Deborah Lang at the Flint life show from this year in Thomasville, Georgia.
