Well after someone up north finally closed the freezer door, Lisa, Terri and I got out for a couple of hours. :D I had e-mailed Lisa and told her that if I didn't get out of this house to play in the dirt soon that I was gonna be digging all my house plants up! :D She said she had just talked to Terri and she sounded purdy squirrely too! :D We met up at a practice field at a nearby high school and dug holes like there was no tomorrow. Charlie had got me one of those SunRay inline's for Christmas and it's a great little present! I guess if I have any complaints about it, it would be that the cord isn't long enough....maybe if it was like a spring cord it would be better. Anywho...ended up with some change, one of the coveted CC tokens and a great silver necklace with a silver seahorse pendant and other odds and ends.

OH..almost forgot....here's a pic of the stuff from my last hunt of 2007...not much, but was happy to have found the silver and the tag.

Nice finds...I want to get one of those probes but I will wait till I know more about them. I would like to test use one of them and just see if they would really benefit me or not. still congrats on what you found.

Hey! Thanks ya'll! :)
Gypsy......I'd neverrrrrr make it up north. :P If it hits below 40 here, it's cold! :D Stay warm!

MM..That's a dandy 2003 version of the CC! ;) :D And yep on the hem weight. :)

Senti...I didn't even notice a change with it added on. I'll let you know on the NC buttons. ;) ;D

TC...I don't think it's a can lid..I'm thinking maybe it's like one of those hub cap things? Maybe from an old Buick?

SouthernB....speaking of probes in general...When I first got my MXT it came with a Bullseye II. I didn't use it for the first six months, thinking it was just something else to have to carry along. One day I decided to see what all the fuss was about after reading a few posts about them and found out really fast that it was/is very helpful to have one. Makes recovery time much faster. Loved the Bullseye but the switch wears out really fast. I went through four. :P BUT...each time it quit working, Whites always sent me another to replace it. :) I think Charlie got tired of hearing me whine about my broken pinpointers! :D

Thanks again ya'll! Nana :)

As always, you did great,Nana. The cord on your probe will work better for you once you get use to placing your detector down correctly.Come on now,did you even once forget to flip the switch back from probe to coil?Did you check the VDI on your detector to see if the probe was reading the same as your coil?I hope the weather stays warm for you.

;D Just once WSDaddy! And it didn't take but a minute to figure out I had forgotten. AND..I didn't even think to look at the screen.... :P till today! :D That's purdy neat! 8) Suppose to be warm the rest of the week with storms inbetween.

Nana ;)

As usual you find the stuff NANA, good goin'. I hunted my yard yesterday and if aluminum contributes to Alzheimers then my worms are going to start getting better because that's about all I got. HH

Very nice Nana! Glad you got out. I went out today and the ground is frozen pretty much solid but had a good recon for late spring.

Nice finds, that hem weight is pretty old i think. I dug a dog tag almost identical to yours, it was a 1949.

Nice finds Nana. I like your dog. Nice pictures.
