I found my first ring ever today! I found it in the same park as I found the 1928 Mercury dime yesterday. The dime was at about 4 inches and the ring at 2 inches. I couldn't beleive my eyes when the ring popped out. I've had my BH 202 a week now and in about 10 hours of detecting have found these 2 pieces of silver and $.30 in modern coinage. The inside of the ring is marked sterling. Anybody have any ideas on what the stone is? The stone has an amber tint.

YEAH PROLLY A GARNET. WORTH TAKING TO A JEWELER ANYWAYS. DEFINETELY LOOKS OLD THOUGH. THE STONE IS HELD WITH LOTS OF PRONGS, UNUSAL. VERY FANCY DESIGN ALSO. GOOD EBAY ITEM!! NICE FIND!!!!!! PROBABLY SOME HIGH SCHOOL GIRL LOST IT AT A GAME.
