It was kind of overcast with a hint of thunder so I went to the two schools (middle and new elementary) next door. By the weather, maybe she is trying to get rid of me?

All worked well in the end, and I didn't even get wet.

Found the ring in the same spot I've hit many times (See FIND MY KEEPERS). Thought is was junque, but after cleaning found the 925 inside. Sweet. Also found a dime and a few pennies.

Then I wandered down to the Elementary school. I hit it once right after I got my Garrett at the beginning of the year. Either I've improved greatly, or the area is finally stocked. Only did right around the equipment because I was looking at the clouds every few minutes. Found the rest of the coins there in 30-45 minutes. Most interesting was the dime under 6 inches of bark (first I've recovered that deep), and the Bahama quarter.

Total clad for the day, 1 Q (2 if Bahama counts), 9 D, 3 N, 23 P.

I don't mind the rain, but the thunder & lighting keep me away from detecting these days... I must be getting chicken in my old age...

Nice finds!!! Lastweek I found a Bermuda nickel at the tot lot. Here's a pic, it is in great condition too, so maybe it wasn't lost for too long.
