17 degrees below zero this morning, 3-5 more inches of snow tonight, on top of the mounds we have now! Enough already, its mid Feburary

It does have its moments where actually having a rear wheel Drive car actually kinda fun, I do get an awful lot of looks with a caddy doin donuts in the parkin lots like I shouldnt be having any fun lol

I been detecting almost everyday for last month...... but its on the saltwater beaches ....land is frozen hard as %##@$%.

It will have benefits here in Michigan, the cold winter that is, bugs Skeeter's ticks, will be tolerable this year.
Only thing I'm worried about is the dreaded thawpocalypse when 5 feet of snow melts..probably a good time to buy a boat lol.

What is bad is when spring comes and the snow melts there is going to be lots of flooding..

I made the point at work the other day that this warming and freezing is actually better than a fast warmup for that very reason. It gives the waterways time to recede before more melt is dumped into them.
