Ugh ! This is May for crying out loud.

[Mackaydon]

We're OK here: Sunshine to start, then a few afternoon clouds. High 77F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
Welcome to SoCal. While the beaches are open, the beach parking lots are still closed; go figure.
Don.....

Winter never left yet here either

[jeff of pa]

I remember snow on ^& around Easter.
I Don't remember it this Late Before.

Not saying it Doesn't Happen. But I Don't remember it

[BigWaveDave]

I caught some snow on my way home from work today...
I miss Florida.

Yup , I'm not liking it at all . I have 24 tomato plants in the garden to try to save from frost. and about 40 more plants that should have been in the ground by now , I'm glad they aren't.

The lawn mower is out but I haven’t yet drained the snowblower so I am hedging my bets. And given that this spring and summer for that matter are pretty much devoid of anything fun, I would prefer we just fast forward about eight months anyway.

[smokeythecat]

Jeff I saw that! Ugh!

[rginn]

It's spring like here finally, but we can get some major May snow storms. I live in the only place I know of that 4th of July fireworks were cancelled due to snow one time. (I thought it would have been cool if they went ahead with them.)

[Rebel - KGC]

THIS too, will PASS...

[63bkpkr]

Heavy Duty Volcano eruptions can turn summers into winter but none of those lately, thank goodness!

Mackaydon - a couple weeks bac I took a drive out past Cuyamaca Peak and continued on past Julian making a nice loop back to Lake Shore Drive
above Lake Murray. It is already getting too hot, course I'm a Michigan boy so I more or less like the weather cooler. 63bkpkr

Raining again here, cooler temps too boot!

[ToddsPoint]

Read about the "Maunder minimum" and you'll know why it's still winter. It's gonna get worse in the next few years. No sunspots. Cooler temps. Gary

[battlecat]

No wonder my back is killing me today :/

1816-The Year Without a Summer.

1816-The Year Without a Summer.

yea we're overdue.

we barely had a winter here in pa,
now this year we need sun and warmth for our health.
and so far things ain't looking like they want to cooperate

of Course if I Believed in Mind/Weather Control I'd take Credit for the Lack of winter.
as every time they suggested it would get bad, I was willing it to not come because of my leaky tarp roof.
and it worked.

but I doubt I Can Will the Cold away

[gold tramp]

Seems cooler here in the desert these days.
I don't like to second guess mother nature, she might turn the heat up to 120 for a month that's bad.
Hope it's going to be dry summer.
