going home to alaska, daughter is meeting me at the airport thursday night and out of desperation i'm taking my sluicebo and pans with me, hoping to culvert shoot enough on the way home to buy groceries. my mechanic business is broke and i better find gold. but now that i know a little about it i have an optomistic outlook.

thanks for all the good wishes, daughter meets me at anch. airport and is bringing my portable sluice, gonna sweep the culverts on the way home just to have some coin to work with when i get there!

HIO: Culverts are always a good try, unless someone else has them staked out. Now get to work!! Are you allowed to make artifical sluices in the creeks? Hidden with large rocks of course.

if ppl do it they dont talk about it that i ever heard, 3 flights, 4 hour layover in salt lake, 3 hour layover in seatle, 3 hour drive(construction) got home at 3:30 this morning. we'll find out about those culverts today! at least it's not 96 deg. this morning. its good to be home again.
