Welp, once again I went on a road trip up north. But, with the results
I do believe I'll need to choose a different direction next time.

My last two trips up north have left me with a feeling of really not being wanted. :tongue3:
Or....at the very least....feared. :laughing7:

It do seem that anyone I tried to stop by and share a day of reminiscing with was just too
preoccupied! You Pennsylvanians are really just too busy up there! :dontknow:

Anyhoo....I do want to express my gratitude to my congenial albeit too busy hosts. By their "snubbery"
it gave me a real chance to explore grounds never before explored, (by me). Also, it freed me to go to places
with potential instead of the usual "farmed out" clad farms I'm usually taken to. ;)

I actually had the time of my life! Just visiting family, having a grandson show me how to do this hobby
properly. Let alone some fantastic finds that I normally wouldn't be given the opportunity to get a coil over!

These are just the combined finds from the week road trip but, due to all the busy-ness, I didn't get out a lot.
Still.....some VERY nice finds, even if I do say so myself! :icon_thumright:

2017 (497).webp

First of all was this VERY special pocket spill!

2017 (498).webp

If you don't think it so special, take a closer look. ;-)

2017 (499).webp
2017 (500).webp

These two are sort of twins, if
yaknowaddameanvern? ;)

2017 (501).webp

Paid for the ENTIRE trip! 120 bucks!!
Thanks Pennsylvanians! :tongue3:

The next one is surely a "Banner"!!

2017 (502).webp
2017 (503).webp

OBVIOUSLY! It *has* to be 14th century!!
Back before they stamped ANYthing on their
coins! NOT EVEN DATES!! 8-)

2017 (504).webp
2017 (505).webp

The gearhead, Fishy, has a new project.
Obviously dated 1888! :tongue3:

2017 (506).webp

Even Blingie is smiling!

Yes....thank you Pennsylvania! I had a *WONDERFUL* time!
Without you! :dontknow:

Happy 4TH to all those not too *busy* to read this! :occasion14:

I don't know any of you personally but I read it as, meant in a light-hearted way, like a ribbing. Sorry just my 2 Lincolns.

Congrats on your PA finds. I really admire that C.C. thingy!

I did not, have never, asked ANYone for their "spots" nor even tried to get permission to do so. I wonder, if you came down and I told you exactly where I hunt. If you would actually try them or just laugh and go home. You can find *ALL* of my spots in any park/school/recreation directory. Still wanta? :tongue3:

Never been about "spots"....why you trying to make it that?

It's all been much ado about..................................nuthin! :dontknow:

I did want to go here

thing that got me was, I did feel bad thing didn't turn out favorable to a hunt.
then I read that and did take it a little personal.
as I said deep down I knew you were joking, But it still bugged me, reading it here where
it can be taken many ways. ahhh coffee time :coffee2:

Some how i think you would be one of a few on the planet that could actually pull it off.

On to the important things in life.

So Whadi,...about those dateless Lincoln's, just stamp on a 1909 date and a few choice letters, post them on e-bay.
There is a fanatic out there somewhere looking for pricey plastic. [emoji4]

First let me say,, congrats on your finds. Plastic coins and monopoly money may end up being an asset in today's economy.
I would have invited you to NYC, but I'm moving to Pennsylvania. lol

I'd take Blingy to my spots, but no, not you! :laughing7:

Funny post. Nice hunting.

I always have an open invitation to share my knowledge. Getting to know someone though is important. Well, if I were to visit or visa-versa, we would have to go somewhere and that would be a spot one of us would know. Thus the way I worded the question. Anyway, im sure someone will join your hunt.

If I may *dare* to offer a hint?

I really don't think that "coffee", would be the best choice. :tongue3:

No harm....no foul....for me at least.
