Just starting to get familiar with my Ace 250 and this is some of the keepers from my yard. Nothing great (yet!), but it's an old house and I've got a feeling there is something good out there. My wife thinks I'm nuts and the kids think I am detecting for worms!

not a bad start keep looking and getting familiar with the 250 and before you know it you will be finding the goodies:icon_thumleft:

Eurobo,The goods cometh to the Diligent, just my two cents. Cool finds dude! God Bless Chris

Looks like you got hungry and snacked on se of those stinkin Lincoln's. My wife kinda thinks I'm nuts for it too. If she only knew. Sometimes the peace of the beeps in the headphones can be pretty serene. Also gives a good excuse, now I don't have to lie when she asks me to do something. I didnt hear you honey, damn headset!

Cool stuff anyway, I've yet to find anything great in my yard. My house was built in 96. I did find a gold plated earring and the usual clad so if yours is older I bet you do have something decent waiting for you to find it.

My kid thinks Im getting old...Im 42 and she things MD'ing is for old retired people. I told her from now on Im going tecktin right by her work and Im going to wear plaid shorts, black socks pulled up and suspenders! :D

Thanks for the welcome and moral support! Did some more MD lawn aeration this morning and dug up something I believe to be an old electrical panel. At first I thought I hit the jackpot (first saw a metal corner of box, then saw a hinge and thought maybe Cortez lost some gold in an unchartered trip to NY), but I assume that comes later with some more sweat and worms. To be honest, the few moments I had of excitement prior to realizing what I had was well worth the letdown. It's like an instant scratch-off lotto ticket; hearing the beep is like buying the ticket. The digging is like the scratching of the ticket and the rest is up to Lady Fortune herself.
