Wow! Almost had my Deputys Badge

Wow! Almost had my Deputy's Badge

So, for a while I've been dreaming of one day finding an old US Marshals, Deputy or Rangers badge. Well, today I about fell on my ass thinking today would be the day. I had dug up a wheaty, two pendants, a dog tag, a pony, an old lighter, a 1944 Merc and a copper plate with the Lord's Prayer. I don't know about you but I thank my Heavenly Father each time I find something regardless of what it is. I also have a ritual, I say the Lords Prayer right before I call it a day, which was amazing to find the little plate with the Lords Prayer, but I didn't know it until I an hr later when I arrived home cleaned it...

Well, my last keeper was about 5-6" deep in compressed dirt and caliche which made it almost impossible to dig even with my trusty Predator tool. As I was about to give up, out pops out what looks like a badge. Wow! This one looks almost like a US Marshals badge. I can see what appears to be a Start in the center. I know Gods watching because this is the second badge in less then a week that I dig up. I guess it something about staying positive and knowing what you want to discover. I've always said, I have a strong feeling on a certain item and somehow I manage to find it. God is Good!

Enjoy the pics... Almost forgot, as I was tough by car91rs, never turn of your machine while walking back to the car. Funny thing, I kept finding buckles on the way back, lol.

Enjoy the pics!

One of these days you will find a Sheriff's badge, luck is certainly on your side. Still, A school safety patrol badge is kind of cool, I would be happy finding it. I think that you found more badges than any other Tnet member.

Yeah I know, never stopped detecting and have tons of great finds to post but had to step back a bit on this site due to my daughter having some major medical issues and alot of my time has been focused on that. Hopefully I can get caught up and start posting soon. Thanks for asking.

Nice diggs

[rhedden]

At least you have somewhere to dig over there in El Paso. I'm in Lubbock, and my detector has been gathering dust in the closet for 5 years. One of these days, I'm going to find a site I can work over. Nice badge collection, by the way!
