TONIGHT WAS THE FIRST FOR ME TO GET OUT AND DO SOME DETECTING.WENT OUT A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE SUMMER BUT THIS IS MY TIME OF YEAR TO START.LOTS OF BUTTONS AND COINS.VERY NICE START IN A FIELD THAT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO DETECT ON ACCOUNT OF THE NUCLEAR PLANT TRANSMISSION WIRES OVERHEAD WHICH MAKE A DETECTOR GO CRAZY BUT WHEN YOU GET ONE NEAR THE TOP OF THE GROUND IT HELPS.THE LARGE CENTS ARE 1797,1800,1816,1821 AND A NICE LITTLE CAROULUS 3 REALE.

Exceptional finds!

The quality of your recoveries based on the total number of hours you've spent
hunting this year are incredible! You've done your homework and it shows

More "good stuff" awaits :)

Awesome finds!! Congrats

Great finds! What's the date on the reale?

Camp out at that site, those are amazing finds. It looks like every other detectorist gave up at that site because of the interference, I'd be hitting it again and again.

the reale is rubbed around the date and can't make it out, looks like 174? this field is private and i believe i,m the only one that ever detected it.there's a field over from this one where i found alot of old copper and silver that included a 1795 half dime in great shape.i'am really lucky to live in this area.

Very nice job!!! :) I think that deserves the banner but that is just me

forgot to say, great job phillies !!! also thanks for the vote.

Fantastic coin find. Yes, nuclear power transmission lines can play havoc on detectors. Keep up the great detecting even with those obstacles.

Is there a difference between nuclear power transmission lines and other power transmission lines? ???

i don't think so,its all electrical power in the lines.
