Why are you opting for the V3I over the E-trac. I'm trying to learn all I can with the E-trac emulator and user manual before I buy one for myself. Thanks.

I have had a couple v3i's in the past and would just like to try one again. You can't go wrong buying an etrac. I think it is one of the best out there and pretty easy to use. The etrac will hunt with the best of them. I had a 3030 and don't really think it was any better at finding targets especially considering the price. The 3030 has some options that might make it worth the money to some people like water hunting and a built in GPS, lipo battery etc.
