XP Deus 3 - Sonar * Advanced AI * Color Display

I read this earlier today.
This post was put up two months ago on a UK forum.
No release date has been posted.
This should be great news for serious Jewelry Hunters.

"XP detectors would like to announce the launch of the XP Deus 3 using advanced AI sonar technology to let you literally see your targets. The new colour controller has full sonar technology giving not only size and shape information but colour indicators depending on the conductivity of the metal.
Coupled with the GO TERRAIN app, advanced AI will give a target ID with a 94.3% accuracy with picture confirmation on the screen.
Why dig those shot gun cartridges or rusty washers when the screen will tell you exactly what the target is".

4 color target IDs
White – silver
Yellow – gold
Green - copper alloy
Brown – undesirable targets

If true, it will be interesting to see. But the Deus 2 still frequently tells me big chunks of iron are non-ferrous, so I'm skeptical. Being able to put a shape to the signal would certainly help. The technology has apparently been out there for a while.

Nothing on XP's website. I don't know if I'd get my hopes up.
