Yard hunt turns up 23 wheats, 2 IH's, Merc, Wash, and Franklin Half!

After breakfast I went and knocked on doors, first one said their daughter was detecting it the day before, no. Next one the kid says, "ok, but only in the front and sides" Game on. Three feet off the front step I'm banging wheat after wheat, thinking, "there has to be silver", bam, 1935 Merc. Next few hours I pull total of 23 wheats (looks like a few key dates, including a 1909) I'll investigate later on those. A 1936 Washington Quarter, 1898, 1899 Indian Head Cents, a advertizing token/fob for "standard Horse Shoe Co. Boston Mass erg. U. S. pat. 011" and a 1950 Franklin Half.
I loved that hunt, very little trash, lots of coins!

Enjoy the pix
HH & GL
Brad

Fantastic hunt brad, lots of silver n wheats.

Nice to see all my tnet buddies making great scores today. You, george, dave, etc etc. Me? I get to work 8 straight nights lol

Congrats again sir!!

Great hunt Brad. I am thinking that might be a fob. I didn't find a single wheat today in my hunt. I was very surprised. Hope your return turns out to be as good!

Great Finds!! You rarely see them Franklins pop up...Cool Fob too!

What a score! Lots of wheat and a Benji too.

Easssssy killer! You need to slow down and go back to work for a week and leave some for the rest of us lol. Notice when we pm in the am we have good hunts. You better send me one around. 6:08 tomorrow morning. Should just be leaving the house :-)

you know what they say, " 23 wheats, 2 IHs, a merc, washington and Franklin half saved is 23 wheats, 2 IHs, a merc, washington and a Franklin half earned." :occasion14: Nice digs!

That half and the merc are in beautiful shape! Congrats!

Heck of a lot of stuff for just the back and sides.

1936-D Washington is a semi-key.

Front and sides, majority was in a 20 X 20 ft area
I just missed that key date, it's a Philadelphia mint. Thanks
