Ye' olde cellar hole - Spectacular buckle! and scenic pics

So for the first time, I brought my F-4 and Vulcan 360 to the old cellar hole to see what I could find. Started off with some square nails and junk, and then a nice high tone turned out to be a beautiful ornate buckle! That made my day! then there were lots of random iron pieces, and then even an old tiller attachment from a tractor that was just left there. Nice day, very warm out, and totally worth it!

If any one could give me an estimate on the buckle date, or what that long metal tube thing is, I would really appreciate it!

We are still waiting for a clean pic:thumbsup:
If there is stamping it should be on the inside somewhere.

Don't worry, haven't forgotten! I've got a lot going on right now, but when I have time I'll try to finish the buckle!

Sweet buckle, nice and heavy duty.

Hey guys! So today I worked with the buckle some more. Did a quick warm hydrogen peroxide treatment, and gentle cleaning. (oh and I TOTALLY did not glue a piece back on with glue because I chipped a piece off. TOTALLY did not...) But I think this will be where I stop. I think it looks great as it is. Can't wait to go back and see what else is hidden there!
