Weather was sunny and 70 degrees so I had to go out. Went to an old cotton gin site. Mostly open field. Hadn't been there five minutes and dug a 1917 wheatie. Covered the ground in a east-west path and found a few items. Pocket watch and pocketknives that has seen their better days. No other coins until I started to leave. Going back to my truck I just trolled the ground in a different direction and got a penney signal over the place that I had already hunted and founs a 1934 wheatie. It would register penny from one direction and trash from the other.....would get nothing when I checked it the way that I had previously hunted......I had gotten in too big of a hurry.....Think I will go back and md it in a more professional manner.

That's what I was going to say . . .
looks like it keeps good time, but needs a little work! :laughing7:

Lots more at that site! Get'em!

Nice Digs!
With hands attached the watch would be on time twice a day, whereas one that's a few seconds off every day is only correct every couple hundred years (or something like that) :laughing9:

Looks like a good spot... Keep at it :icon_thumright:
